Cast Steel Fixed Soft Seal Ball Valve

Cast Steel Fixed Soft Seal Ball Valve
1. Trunnion-Mounted Design with Dual Support Shafts: The ball is secured by upper and lower stems, preventing media pressure from causing it to deflect. Suitable for high-pressure (Class 150-600) and large-diameter (DN50-DN600) applications.
Low Operating Torque: Easier to open and close than a floating ball valve, suitable for frequent operation or automated control (pneumatic/electric).
2. Soft Seat
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene): Corrosion-resistant, low-friction, suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 180°C.
RPTFE (Reinforced PTFE): Higher strength and improved pressure resistance.
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone): High-temperature resistance (≤250°C) and wear resistance, suitable for demanding applications.
Sealing ratings can reach ANSI VI (zero leakage), but are not suitable for media containing solid particles or highly abrasive media.
3. Cast Steel Body
Material Options:
WCB (A216): General-purpose carbon steel, resistant to pressure and high temperatures. WC6/WC9: High-temperature cast steel, suitable for steam systems. CF8/CF8M (304/316 stainless steel): Corrosion-resistant, suitable for chemical media. Pressure rating: PN16~PN100 (Class 150~600). Operating temperature: -29°C~425°C (depending on the material and seal material).
4. Fire safety design (optional)
Double seal structure: soft seal + metal seal. Even if the soft seal burns out in a fire, the metal seal can still maintain a certain sealing effect (compliant with API 607/API 6FA standards).
5. Connection method
Flange connection (RF/RTJ): Complies with ANSI B16.5 and GB/T 9113.
Butt welding connection (BW): Suitable for high-pressure piping systems.
Threaded connection (NPT/BSP): Suitable for small-diameter, low-pressure piping.
6. Operation method
Manual (handle, gearbox) or automatic control (pneumatic or electric actuator)
