Forged Steel Floating Soft Seal Ball Valve
1. Forged Steel Body
Made of high-quality forged steel (such as A105, LF2, F304/F316), this valve body offers greater strength and pressure resistance than cast valves, making it suitable for high pressure and high temperature applications (PN16-PN420, Class 150-2500).
2. Floating Ball Design
Under the pressure of the media, the ball presses against the downstream valve seat, achieving a seal. This design is suitable for small and medium-sized valves (typically DN15-DN200).
3. Soft Seat
The valve seat is typically made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), RPTFE (reinforced PTFE), PEEK (polyetheretherketone), or nylon, providing excellent sealing performance (reaching zero leakage standards such as ANSI Class VI).
4. Suitable for clean media (such as gas, water, and oil), but not for applications involving solid particles or severe abrasion.
5. Connection Methods
Flanged (RF/RTJ), threaded (NPT/BSP), butt weld (BW), etc., conforming to ANSI, DIN, and GB standards.
6. Operation Methods
Manual (handle/gearbox), pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic.
