Forged Steel Fixed Soft Seal Ball Valve
Forged Steel Fixed Soft Seal Ball Valve
1. Trunnion-Mounted Ball
The ball is secured by upper and lower stems, preventing media pressure from causing displacement and reducing operating torque. It is suitable for high pressures (Class 150-2500) and large diameters (DN50-DN1200).
Compared to floating ball valves, trunnion-mounted ball valves are more suitable for high differential pressures and frequent operation, and offer a longer service life.
2. Soft Seats: PTFE, RPTFE, PEEK, or nylon, providing ANSI Class VI (zero leakage) sealing. Suitable for clean media (such as natural gas, water, and oil), but not for use with solid particles or in highly abrasive environments. Some models offer dual sealing (soft seal + metal seal). Even if the soft seal burns out in a fire, the metal seal can still maintain a certain level of sealing effectiveness (compliant with API 607/API 6FA fire safety standards).
3. Forged Steel Body: Materials: A105, F22, F304/F316 Compared to cast valve bodies, these valves offer greater strength and pressure resistance than cast valves. Operating temperature range: -29°C to 200°C (depending on seal material).
4. Low operating torque and long life. The fixed ball design reduces friction and offers lower opening and closing torque than floating ball valves, making them suitable for electric and pneumatic automation. The blowout-proof stem design complies with API 6D standards.
5. Connection options: Flange (RF/RTJ), butt weld (BW), and threaded (NPT/BSP), complying with ANSI, ASME, DIN, and GB standards.
6. Actuation: Manual (handle/gearbox), pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic.
